Alexa will be in the Pilot episode of the new TV Show RAINES (she plays Sandy Boudreau) which will be airing on March 15th at 10:01pm on NBC. The show is about an eccentric police officer who talks to dead victims to help them find their murderers. Expect screencaps and video clips from her performance this weekend.

Linda Park (Sato)’s new series Raines has been picked up by NBC for mid-season, when it will air at 10 p.m. Sunday nights.

The Futon Critic has published NBC’s complete fall lineup, where Raines will move into the lineup after the fall’s Sunday Night Football concludes for the season. Raines stars Jurassic Park and Armageddon star Jeff Goldblum as a police detective who can talk to dead people (story).

Kevin Reilly, NBC Entertainment president, announced that the network wanted to “establish a foundation of quality across the week by standing behind shows that each say something about who we are.” In addition to Raines, which is written by Emmy-winning writer-producer Graham Yost of Band of Brothers, the network is unveiling The Black Donnellys from Paul Haggis and Bobby Moresco, Academy Award winners for Crash.

The new comedy 20 Good Years, on which Tim Russ (Tuvok) has a recurring role (story), has been picked up by NBC as well. It will run on Wednesday nights in the 9-9:30 p.m. time slot.

The New York Times quoted Goldblum as saying that Raines “has a very kind of film noir feel to it.” Goldblum greeted reporters and fans at NBC’s upfront presentation, where the newspaper reported that he was one of its most popular attractions.

Park’s character on Raines is named Sally Lance, a fellow police officer who works with Goldblum’s character. The Futon Critic has details about the rest of the cast.

No series premiere date has yet been set, but it will likely be in January after the Superbowl.

That’s right. It’s official. The show was picked up by NBC and Alexa will be playing Sandy Boudreau. It seems IMDB.com has added Alexa on a new pilot entitled “RAINES.” No set date has been made. It says 2006. There’s not even much information on the show aside from “An eccentric police officer talks to dead victims to help him find their murderers.” They have a cast list as well listed.
